Hi,
during dive suddenly the deco stop information meters and minutes disapear. The field gets cleared/is empty and then after some time the info comes back. Is this normal? The checkmark in Data "Ascent follows deco stops" is set.
To illustrate that I made a video with the simulator (though during real diving exactly the same happens) you can watch, here is the link:

Re: During dive deco stop meters and minutes disapear
Hi all,
I bought my second ostc 4.
During my first dive today the display was blocked at 1.3 meters and the timer too.
After about 16 minutes the display has unlocked and the profile has almost matched my dive (it is missing a few meters deep).
Fortunately I have a second one for backup. You can compare the 2 profiles on the attached files.
Have you ever had this problem? I'll do a new test this weekend. Both of them are in V1.3.9.

Never had any problems like that, but I am on 1.3.5. Am not going to install 1.3.9 until HW gets all their SW sorted out

Hi,
This indeed sounds like an issue with the 1.3.9 (Which we pulled back recently). There are a few different hardware versions of the OSTC4 and I'm afraid some don't like the changes in the 1.3.9. I recommend use the 1.3.0 stable or the 1.3.5 beta (Which is almost identical to the 1.3.0)
regards,
Matthias

Now that you mention it 1.3.5 still has the Beta sign at the top left. No problem with the 1.3.5 until now. Do you recommend a downgrade?

As said: The 1.3.5 beta has absolutely no known issues and is almost identical to the 1.3.0 stable.

Matthias, would be nice to move 1.3.5 out of Beta soon!?
