OSTC plus upgrade from hwOS sport to hwOS tech

I successfully updated my OSTC plus to hwOS sport 10.53 .

Couldn't make the update neither with the Android app (connected to OSTC but didn't download firmware files) nor the Windows companion (hangs forever although the device was paired and the COM port was set), but with subsurface on Linux it was quick and easy.

Now I want to upgrade to hwOS tech. I can download the hwOS tech firmware files, but cannot find a description on heinrichsweikamp.com how to do this, how to pay for the upgrade, ... The website just says this upgrade is possible, but not how.

Hi,

For an upgrade to "hwOS tech" you need to contact us directly: info@heinrichsweikamp.com - we'll need the serial number of your unit. In the OSTC plus, the upgrade into the tech version costs 140EUR (Incl. German VAT) and you'll get a special firmware via mail for this (plus instructions what to do with that).
