I'm running into an issue with my wife's OSTC plus. I can't seem to screw the battery cap close, with the o-ring installed. Without the o-ring, it works, but with the oring it gets stuck with the o-ring still visible. I recall earlier it taking some force to insert (noticably more, and the o-ring will 'plop' into place essentially), but now the amount of force is so much I stop trying.
What am I doing wrong here?

Did you put some grease on the O-ring ? Silicone one, a very very small amount.

Yes, I did. Turns out the cap is eager to cross-thread with the o-ring in place, finding a 'false' thread. With some care the correct thread is found and the cap can close completely.

Hi,
I encountered this trouble several times with my own OSTC Plus. You must perfectly align the cap with the body of the computer, the smallest misalignment will prevent you to screw the cap. Easier to say than to do !
Regards.

Hi,
We'll make a video sometimes. Basically, you need to push first a bit, then start turning.
regards,
Matthias
