OSTC Mk.2 Button Sensitivity

Post by nickpicks »

The set/menu button on my mk.2 is not very sensitive a lot of the time - needs a hard push. The other day, I used it when it was plugged into the charger and the button is really sensitive.

I was wondering if it's more sensitive because of the higher voltage, and whether the battery might be a bit tired and that's what is causing the unsensitive button. The battery info page says Cycles 287 (102) and lowest Vbatt: 3.931V.

Is replacing the battery likely to improve the button sensitivity?

Hi,

The buttons in the Mk.2 are not adjustable and unfortunately not replaceable. Sensitivity is not depended on the battery voltage (Internal voltages are regulated).

Thanks. I was just interested that the sensitivity is a lot higher when the battery is charging. Is this just a conincidence?
