battery status

Post by zlooopy »

Hi,
My OSTC4 shows an empty battery icon while simultaneously showing 4.2v. A voltmeter indicates the battery is charged to 4.12v. The computer will not turn on by pressing the buttons but will power on when I insert the battery; only for a few seconds.
Please advise.

Have you put the OSTC4 on charge for 24h? Why do you remove the battery ( I know it's possible but in all my ownership of the ostc4's I never had to)?

Yes, I left the computer charging for more than 24h. I removed the battery to verify it's charge with a voltmeter.
