It’s pretty much bricked. I’ve updated the firmware. But it won’t let me access any menus.

Re: ERR Showing in hpa and celsius
When did you update FW, before or after error?
Was the FW upgrade successful?
To which FW?
Is it fully charged?
Did you restart it with a magnet?

Re: ERR Showing in hpa and celsius
Put the OSTC4 on the charger and touch the left side with a strong magnet. That restarts the OSTC.

Re: ERR Showing in hpa and celsius
You should see the device power cycle and then start up when it's done the right way:
- the dive computer needs to be on the charger, and actually charging;
- touch the magnet to the metal casing of the dive computer, on the side where the circular opening for the battery compartment is, next to the compartment (or slide it over the entire side, to get the right spot);
- when it's working you should see the 'Heinrichs Weikamp' boot logo, and then the surface screen.

- and the magnet has to be strong enough.

Re: ERR Showing in hpa and celsius
"ERR" is short for "Error" and indicates a hard-defect at the pressure sensor. Since you are in contact with us already we'll have this fixed soon.TDR wrote: 29 Apr 2023, 20:38 Computer glitched with large numbers in top left. Now shows err in hpa and celsius
