OSTC PLUS Battery problems

Hello, without really knowing the reason and after having fully charged my computer (as indicated on the screen), in the last few dives when starting the dive it has been set to 0% charge and although it has lasted the entire dive without problem 50 - 90 minutes, the entire dive has been with the danger triangle indicating low charge.

At home I was going to change the battery and test it with an external charger to see if it was defective and I had to change it when I saw that the battery compartment looks as if water had entered it, since it shows signs of corrosion, but the battery is in perfect state.

I don't think this corrosion that can be seen is very good for the computer, and perhaps it is the origin of the battery failures.

Either the battery leaked or you had some water inside the battery compartment. In either way, we need to service the unit at our place (New battery contact, new battery cap, new battery). Please contact us via info@heinrichsweikamp.com in this case.
