OSTC Sport - Unable to connect on Bluetooth for Firmware Upgrade

Hi Everyone

Thanks in advance for helping. I have a unit of OSTC sport stuck with old firmware and is unable to connect to Bluetooth for firmware upgrade.

I have tried the following devices

1. Apple IPad Pro M1 OTSConf
2. Apple New iPad
3. iPhone 12 Pro
4. MacBook Pro (intel chip)
5. Android HWOS
4. Mac Mini 2012 on intel chip. For this one, Bluetooth can detect & connect with OSTC Sport but OSTC Companion is unable to connect for firmware upgrade.

Your OSTC sport is from 2014 or earlier and does not support BLE/Bluetooth 4.0

That rules our any of your iOS units (See FAQ for details) and likely your newer MAC Computers. HWOS Config on Android should work, though. Or a Windows PC.

I also tried and cannot connect my Ostc+ to Bluetooth. Secondary problem right now but could not be seen by y PC, iPhone or Samsung phone. I wonder how to update the firmware

and bluetooth is turned "ON" on the OSTC+?

In the new OSTC+, there is an option "Reset Bluetooth" in the reset menu. This will un-pair any devices from the OSTC+ and usually does the trick if you have issues. Also, the OSTC+ Bluetooth may not work with a (low quaility) 1,5V battery. The recommended 3,6V rechargeable LiIon battery or a good quality 1,5V battery as the Energizer E2 Lithium 1,5V is fine.

It giving me many problems, so also tried to upload again the firmware. Today I succeed to connect to my android phone and uploaded it. However, issue with my OSCT + remain there

If you can connect and upload the existing FW I don't understand what the problem is.

Can you download dives to Subsurface?

maybe it would be better to describe your issues with the OSTC+.
your posting reminds me on messages like "i have an issue with my right car mirror. I can not see it clear and I can't clean it or move it 'caus the car is lying on it"
