OSTC Slow Ascent

Hello,

I wanted to test the slow ascent functionality but I was not able to make it happen.

Tested several minutes - my last stop is 6m therefore also slow ascent should start from 6m. Tested deco and non deco dives - with and without safety stop.

Any advice? Firmware is the latest.

Worked for me but turned it off as it was annoying for NDL and minor deco dives in my case...

Hmm thanks for the feedback!
Just played around with it in simulator mode and also changed last stop to 3m but I am not able to get it activated!

I assume it would be displayed on the right in the middle the same as the safety stop?

Did you simulate a dive or did you actually do a dive with slow ascent activated?

Hi Fabio,

there is an activation condition for the timer: The dive needs to be longer than 15 minutes (to avoid that the slow exit is shown in an early dive situation where you would prefer to have the normal ascend speed).

I have just tried the 6m ascend in the sumulator and was wondering why it did not work... it was because the simulated dive was < 15 minutes...

@Hansjörg: Yes on real dives and simulated
@Thorsten: Thanks for information - this was not the solution but due to repetitive simulation I have found out the the slow ascent was displayed on the ascent speed bar (the blue bar with the grey marks) and not as a timer like the safety stop 🙈 I did not notice that at all and was looking for numeric timers 🙈
