Hi,
I own a OSTC2 (serial 10578, v3.27 hwOs tech) for several years. Worked flawless so far but I face an issue for a few weeks.
It looks like my bluetooth became totaly out of order overnight.
It used to work perfectly with all my devices (linux laptop, linux computer, android phone) and several softwares (Subsurface on linux and android, HWOS Config and so on). But from one day to the next, everything stopped.
I tried to etablish a new bluetooth connection but the wired thing is that my OSTC now shows up as a "dual bluetooth device" (???). One is called "x085840", the second one "BM+SR 0F6B". This settings appears whatsoever (Tried several phones, laptop, Windows or Ubuntu). Things remain the same even when using full linux console. Thereafter is a screenshot from my phone bluetooth pairing mode : https://photos.app.goo.gl/qnrzhbVfqhTjFrHt5
My concern is that nowadays I can not download my dives (shame as I used to share them with my trainees) and more important, I can not update my computer.
Thanks in advance for any support

Re: OSTC 2 : bluetooth out of order ??
Hi,
BM+SR 0F6B is the default name of the used Bluetooth chip in this generation of OSTC. You can reset this old OSTC 2 Bluetooth name and configuration the following way:
- Reboot the unit from the reset menu
- While the "play" symbol is shown repeatedly and quite firmly press on the right button until the bluetooth icon is shown
- restart the unit with the left button
-> The bluetooth chip is reset. All paired devices are deleted (And need to be repaired) and the bluetooth name is set again to "OSTC #10578".
"x085840" is not your OSTC but something else.
regards,
Matthias
