cold water

Post by jaska »

Hello everybody!

Next saturday i make first dive whit my new mk2.
In dry land it´s incredible, i hope it´s even better in under water.
Only thing what concern me is cold water. Water deep in gulf of finland is usually 3-6´c and same temperature in mine´s, how it´s effect the battery shor or long period?

My last 4 dives were betwen 6.7 and 7.5 celsius, each at least 50 minutes. So far, the batter shows almost full, I think 95%.
Kind regards,
Gorcio, OSTC MK2 828

This Winter I've dived in waters as cold as 1 or 2°C (during the whole dive).

Does not seem to affect the OSTC.

Hello,

Current consumption of the OSTC is low, that means cold batteries do not drop as significant as in mobile phones, for example.
