Hi!

it could be a setup option: "would you like to config decimal values in gases?"
than, who wish it will config it, others no.

No, it doesn't make any sense at all to calculate using decimals here. The analysers simply are not precise enough and it is not right to make precise calculations with unprecise measurements! But fortunately Matthias and Christian are engineers and will for sure know that...

The 2 Button issue cold be solved easily by changing the way entering the numbers to a digit based one: change the 1st digit, then the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on. Yesterday I had to change the clock on my OSTC from 19:05 to 18:02, guess how often I had to press the buttons!?

Back to topic: I think it is legal to have such a discussion and I'd like to see many more of them in here!

If there would be an option to define tenths for gas mixes I'd use it (knowing that there it would have very little effect to my run time). Every good analyzer is displaying tenths and I'm pretty sure I've a correct calibrated one.
Could also be a USP for the OSTC which leads some people to choose this unit...

We are. But I don't think that this makes sense, sorry.

It may make sense in theory but in this case I am whole heartedly with Matthias, pity fortunato didn't follow up his suggestion with more convincing arguments.
Cheers,
