Gas switch displayed as deco

Post by Jean-François »

I think my message got lost in the Firmware thread so I'll post it again here.

I've realized that with the new V2.20 the OSTC adds 1 minute to your deco plan at the depth of the gas switch regardless if CF55 is set to 0.
Personally I don't like it at all because, for me it doesn't make sense to have it there. More so that I've set CF55 to 0. I also find it disturbing to have it there while I didn't have 6m and 9m stops yet. Plus it kept appearing and disappearing constantly (at least on the main dive screen. I didn't look at the deco plan every time)
I'd like to know the reasoning behind displaying this information (and also why it appears and disappear constantly) because I might have missed something. It worked fine before so I'd like to understand the change. I'm not a tech diver (yet ?) so this feature might be safety relevant for them. I don't know. I just would like to understand.

Thank you

I don't like that, too. In my opinion, this is a bug, especially because those spurious stops are also recorded in the deco ceiling shown in the logbook. But I think your message didn't get lost, but Matthias and Christian are currently at the "Boot" Exhibition and probably have no time looking at this issue.

Oh I didn't think of that, sorry for the trouble then.
