1.22 CCR mode bug

Post by Anonymous User »

It may have been reported before in CCR mode the bottom right of the screen from the start of the dive shows 160 (presumably this is the No Stop time, but it should read 999 and decrease thereafter).

I have been diving shallow long caves, so the number has not changed throughout the dive, but I have no means thus far of telling if it changes to something sensible or if it works at all.

Anybody tried firmware 1.22 in CCR mode and is the bug confirmed and how does the OSTc behaave as Deco begings to build-up?

...O.K., found a cave which tokok me down to 23 meters for 2 hours and the "160" figure bottom right started going down...

why is there a 160 number though to start up with?

What is the logic of the computer dispalying 160 bottom right during the no deco portion of the dive?

Hello,

That's the No Deco Limit (NDL) and it's starting at 160 because it's programmed to do so. You'll see a NDL time in any other computer doing deco calculations. While the NDL can be higher then 160minutes the OSTC stops calculations for NDL>160minutes (Very shallow waters). Other computers display "99" for example.

Matthias

Tx.

Good to know it is intended to do that and it is not a bug.

For cosmetic reason it may be easyer to understand if instead of 160 it displays "NDL" or "999" or "---" .

In any event, the manual should make it clear that 160 is normal and it equates "NDL."
