For people like me who are getting older, I wish the OSTC numbers would be a little bit bigger.
The critical information at the four corners is fine, but all the other info. like the setpoint pPO2 (which I can just still read), I wish were a little bit bigger and legible.

Re: OSTC Firmware for the blind
Hello,
I must admit that we underestimated the amount of diver without sufficient correction masks. Next step on our display-to-do-list is a new middle-sized font with more simple, clear figures. I'm afraid the small font will not be changed in the future but we can try to move more important informations to the middle-size font.
regards,
Matthias

The thing is there is a transition period between the time one needs correction lenses... I am not there yet as in normal environments I can read very well... the problem begins in a cave or 100 meters deep whereby due to the reduction in ambient light the eye behaves very differently.
I thought pressure was affecting my eyeshape and moving the focal point having had radial keratotomy, but it is just the reduced natural light where suddenly my eyes canot see as well.

I have the same issue but someone told me it is related to breathing Helium-mixes.
And it is true, when i'm on air my underwater vision significantly improves.
I'm not using glasses or contact lenses on land.

I have the problem on air as well when in a cave... so I tend to think that the weakness of my eyesight becomes apparent in low or no natural light environment... so bigger characters on dive computers will help greatly!
