CF29: Depth of last decompression stop

Post by Dahab Boris »

Hi All,

I understand the above lets you set the depth of the last deco stop - default 3m. Why is the default 3m do most people leave it so ?
How does it coexist with the new CF65 for the "Safety Stop" if CF29 is set to 6m ?

Any tips appreciated..
Cheers,
DB

it doesn't coexist because CF65 is only used for no deco dive
CF29 is used with deco dive, I set it at 4m.

Hi Boris,
if you decompress on 100% oxygen, you maybe want to use the full 1,6 pO2 to get biggest Oxygen Window. So you set it to 6m.
Or you are in rough environment with waves, and its better to do the stop a bit deeper.

Manuel

Yes, but also keep in mind you won't decompress much at 6m unless you have enriched gas.
That is to say air is most of the time not enough to finish decompression at 6m.
Meaning you might have to stays for hours in deco...
