Hi OSTC-Team,

ich machte am 15.11.2009 einen TG mit folgenden Einstellungen

Gas 1: 21% / Aktiv: Ja
Gas 2: 50% / Aktiv: Nein
Gas 3: 100% / Aktiv: Nein
Model: ZH-L16 GF OC
GF low: 30
GF high: 80 oder 90

max. Tiefe war 32m / Zeit war 36min

Jetzt zum Problem das ich beobachten konnte. Der OSTC funktionierte problemlos und wir begannen den Aufstieg. Auf ca. 15 Meter sah ich plötzlich das gelbe Dreieck leuchten und der Computer zeigte plötzlich 199min Deco an und am Schluss stieg ich mit einem GF von 255% aus dem Wasser.

Ich habe Euch das bin-File von Divinglog auch gepostet. Vielleicht hilfts.

strange decotimes with upper settings. about 15m my ostc yellow alert sign shows up an deco time was at 199 mins. GF was at 255% on surface.

Nachtrag:

Heute bin ich auch dazu gekommen das Profil mit dem Divinglog-Simulator nochmals nachzutauchen. Interessanterweise trat das Problem bei diesem Versuch nicht mehr auf.

maybe the problem only arise under water (...problems pressuresensor, waterleak, ...)

ich habe genau das gleisches Problem ein Mal gehabt...
das war das einsiges Tauchgang ich habe nur mit ein aktives Gas...

bevor und später habe ich das nie gesehen...

I have seen this behavior 2 times with my 2 units during last year+. I can't tell whether it was the same unit or not. Also the versions must have been different. The deco sums in these cases were 199' as described, but the Desat time was both times normal afterwards.

It seems the pressure sensor error data falls sometimes through the rationality checks(?) into the deco calculation, but does not affect the desat calculation?

well, not sure if i have the same issue... seems like very
similar one (i cannot speak german, just recognizing few words
and looking at numbers guys!:)).

almost on every dive below 30m, while going slowly up, at about
15-20m i was noticing sudden change from NDL like 60 minutes (or more)
to 1-4 minutes deco obligation at 6m (my last deco stop). it was clearing
1-2 minutes later to proper NDL (60 minutes and more).

imho, definetely there is some glitch.

My OSTC1 did it again today! Well, still only 3 times like this during last year+, but it is anyway 3 times too many...

Maximum deco sum (199') appeared as my second OSTC1 showed still 26 minutes of no stop time at the same moment... This time the error went into the Desat calculation as well. Desat is still 58:26 and now it is 2:32 after the dive.

Version is 1.50. GF 30/90. Dive was with air to max. 22 meters and 47 minutes. Naturally no other gases active or used.

My OSTC depth/pressure sensor might be working badly, but anyway I do miss some rationality checks for the sensor values in the deco calculation.

hatte diese Problem bereits zweimal mit der alten stablien Version. Fehler wie bereits beschrieben, Warn-LED leuchtet, 199min Dekosun.

Einstellungen:

OC-GF 15/90
Gas 1 : 21% aktiv
Gas " : 50% jedemals aktiviert

Hatte gehofft das sich diese Problem mit der neuen Version erledigt hat.

Habe letztes Wochenende aber bei der neuen Version etwas gesehen, dachte zuerst ich sehe nicht richtig.

Beim Aufsteigen sehe ich eine Dekosun von 30min, auf der Gaswechselttiefe angekommen, sehe ich ein Dekosun von 60min, danach wieder 30 min. Bin mir allerdings nicht 100% sicher, ob ich richtig auf das Display gesehen habe. Vieleicht könnt ihr das mal mit beobachten.

Hallo Sebastian,

dass die Dekosumme auf der Gaswechseltiefe kurz ansteigt, ist eigentlich normal.

Der Algorithmus berechnet dir die gesamte Dekozeit inklusive dem aktivierten Dekogas ab Wechseltiefe. Wenn du dann auf der Wechseltiefe angekommen bist und nicht wechselst, rechnet er mit dem aktuellen Gas weiter, also steigt die Summe. Wenn du dann aktiv wechselst passt die Summe wieder wie vorhergesagt.

Um das zu vermeiden müsstest du wohl einen halben Meter früher auf das Dekogas wechseln, oder du ignorierst es einfach, weil es effektiv eh keinen Einfluss auf die Dekozeit hat.

my dive went down to 30 meters and goes up slowly to 15 meters and there it happens exactly as "einbar" describes it in his/her post from december 2th. The pressure sensor was already changed by matthias about a year before so i don't think it's the sensor.

Perhaps matthias or christian spends some word about this case?

Hello Matthias,
I repeated these condition with the OSTC MK2, after reseting to the default and I get for 60 m and 21 min bottomtime :
30 m 1min
27 m 2 min
21 m 2 min
18 m 4 min
15 m 3 min...
Thats al the rest of the other decompression steps are not displayed... So, what wrong?

These deeper stops look like you are using GF deko while I tested with ZH-L16?
