@Uwe, Daniel,

I just pushed an update with a scrollbar that appears when the window is too small.
Is it a suitable workaround for you ? I'll think about something more suitable later.

Thanks,

I have 1 question. Would you think it would be possible for you to make an iOS version of it ?
I ask this because it would be awesome to have it on my iPhone so when I'm on vacation I can plan my dives on the spot.
I don't have a laptop so it would help me tons.

I know that there are other softwares for that (iDeco, Baltic) but I'd love the way this one works because I can set it the exact same way as my OSTC (CF11 and 12) or GF if I use that.

Anyway, thank you very much for this. I love it.

Hey give JD a chance to finish the windows version. Btw. It should run on a Netbook.

Hehe. Just asking and giving JD a few ideas. Although I don't think he needs me for that. :)

I don't have a note book and won't ever, I don't have any need for that.
And it's true that I'd like a Mac version before an iOS one.

Hi

Thanks JD for the good bit of software kit! Installed Trial version of 155 and looks very swish..., one question before i purchae though, currently it will not let me download my OSTC CF settings, even though using same COM Port as my version of DivingLog which has no problems ( in fact tried all COM settings). Is this functionality disabled in the Trial version and becomes active on full purchase? I am running on an XP machine though ( will try on Win 7 )

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Jez

Hello,
No, this function is not disabled. If it does not work, there migt be a bug. Does it says anything ?

Hi JeanDo

On pressing the Download button:

Connecting COM( whatever com number i set to and have tried 1-16)
FAILED: Downloading OSTC configuration

Do i have to put the OSTC into any mode or just leave as switched on?

Thanks for your help

Regards

Jez

Yo Jez,

Just need to turn on the 2N.
I was able to download the config and upload changes. So it does work.
(I am running it on XP)

Hi

Nope, units are turned on, USB cable connected, and set to same COM port as diving Log software ( well i've tried all COM settings )

Still not talking, and i know the unit is working fine as i've just updated to BETA 2.09

@Jez

The unit have to be ON, in surface mode (just like when downloading dives or uploading firmware with DivingLog...).
You should quit DivingLog also (this port can't be opened twice).

Which port is it ? Is there anything special in your config (VirtualBox, etc) ?

Hope this helps,

Hi JD

Ok some success...

Yep, switched on, in surface mode, without DivingLog running. Both OSTC we have tried are MKII and not 2N versions

Now that i have managed to upgrade my MK2 to 2.09 Beta, i can download/upload settings on a Win7 machine on COM3

But it will still not allow me to communicate on a Win XP laptop ( the one where i run Bootloader/Divelog with no problems)

There is nothing speacial about either machine we have tried it with and nothing else is running

Help!!!!
