5 extra Gases...

Hi,
For those who wait for the new beta, we'd like to introduce the five extra gases here. Right now I see two different versions:
1. Diluent and Bailout gases are configured in the Gas Setup. Switching between OC and CCR deco mode will "load" five gases into the gas setup. Switching back will reload the old five gases
2. Diluent and Bailout/OC gases are put into two different Gas setup menus. Gas Setup and Diluent Setup, for example.
I prefer option 2...
regards,
Matthias

Hi Matthias,
Option 2 and when going back OC->CC, memorize the diluent used.

Hi,
I would prefer option 2 as well. Also think the dil should only appear when in CCR mode as per Scubatinoo's suggestion.
Thanks
David

Option 2 looks more promising, and with Dil gases only visible while in CCR mode to avoid mixup!
Sthephens wish also makes some sense that it should default back to same gas previously used if switching back to CCR mode from bailout!
Good work Matthias! (tu)

Hi,
if it defaults back on the same gas then we need another option to switch diluent gas.
Sofar the only way to switch diluent gas is to switch to bailout, switch over to another gas and then switch back to CCR.
I'm not an advocat for switching diluent but i think the option to switch diluent is required.

Same here... Option 2, but only available in CCR Mode, to avoid configuring the OC gases in the bail menu by mistake

Option 2 as well. I agree with Vortax in the sense that they are only available in CCR mode.

Option 2 please. Thanks for doing this!
Do we still get a sixth gas in each list for configuring "on the fly" in case we end up with a gas in the water that is not pre-configured?
Cheers, Stephen

Good to hear we are getting more gas options.
I'm not aware how the other computers handle this but...
I see one logical challenge why we may need to stick with the current functionality.
You may want to have couple pre-set diluents and separetly several bailouts/decogases but...
You must keep the possibility to switch any bailout gas to be your diluent on fly.
One simple way is to just have more gases on current list and keep the logic as is except for having pre-set diluents available in separate menu. You pick the gas you use and it will automatically turn to gas-list as active gas #1
