Logbuch OSTC 2N

Daniel

Wieviele Stunden dauern Deine TG denn?
CF20 verstellt?

Hallo Matthias,

Welche Firmware hast Du drauf?
Gruß,
Matthias

Moin allerseits

Matthias

I have had a little of the same problem - not al my dives are possible to download.
I tried Jdivelog and Subsurface with no luck. Then tried to use a demo version of DiveLog and presto the last dives were there. Can also find my dives with OSTC Tools v 0.8.6. How can i get my dives logged with Jdivelog
fv: 2.70
Thanks: Michael - 2N - sn 3933

Can you please post the raw dump (.bsp) of your 2N (with OSTC tools) here? I'll have a look if there is some kind of wrong data in it.

Matthias

Hmm, there are 9 dives and the remains of one dive that's being partly overwritten already (Which is totally normal). But no obvious issues I can see.
I'm quite sure a logbook reset will help here. But I also think doing one or more new dives may do it, as well. Seems that JDiveLog is being confused from the remaining profile. Did you set CF20 to "1" for some dives? This may also cause an issue with jDivelog.

Matthias

Hi,
i can extract 9 dives from your binaries.

Hi
CF 20 is set to 10.
And does a logbook reset delete dives ? Sounds like that.
And now Jdivelog does not see dives later that the 150913 ?
Thanks: Michael

Hi Bumlerd,
are you shure?
In the Profiles and Custom Functions settings from the files you have posted, CF20 is set to 2 Seconds.

Hi Rob
CF 20 = 10, according to 2N.
But looking at settings stored from OSTC tools it is CF 20 is 2
Strange

Thats strange,
If you go in the profile, you can see a depth entry every 2 seconds. So 2 seems to be the set.
I will load firmware 2.70 and store your settings in my ostc to see what happens.

Rob

I think i found it,
I loaded your config in my OSTC:
CF20:
Actual Value is 2
Default Value is 10
Your OSTC should show the same!
Default is the system Default for the CF,
Actual Value is the value the system uses.
And thats 2.
You can yuse OSTCTools to create an overview of your settings:
( Download from your OSTC, then Edit->List )
You can Copy the text from the dialog to any editor you like an print it.
(Click somewhere in the text, press CTRL A to mark everything, than press CTRL C for copy.)
So, from my point to view:
-the files are Ok.
-the dives in the log are Ok.
Best wishes
Rob

Hi Michael,
sorry, no, i locked in your dump files to see if the problem came from the OSTC, anf from my point to view your ostc is ok.
The fact that,
-i can handle the bins in ostctools and
-export all the dives, without any problems,
tells me that your OSTC is fine.
You should contact the developer of jdivelog, to fix the problem in the jdivelog software. (
http://jdivelog.org/about/ )
Or maybe you need the latest version of jdivelog.
Regards
Rob

Try a third tool, like Subsurface. I doubt that there is an issue in your logbook data -> jdivelog bug.
