The new OSTC3-firmware 1.03 is now available for download: http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/?id=162&version=en - it can be installed using the "OSTC companion" (Available from the same site). Major changes are the new user-selectable colour schemes and the dynamic gaslist (See below) selectable in OC mode.

Die neue Firmware 1.03 ist nun verfügbar für den OSTC3: http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/?id=162 - Diese wird wie immer mit dem "OSTC Companion" (Verfügbar auf der gleichen Seite) installiert. Wichtige Neuerungen sind die Benutzer-wählbaren Farbschema und die dynamische Gasliste, die im OC Modus anzeigbar ist.

- Select dynamic Gaslist with right button. All Gases not recommended for this depths are in red
- Wählen Sie die dynamische Gasliste mit der rechten Taste aus. Alle Gase, die für diese Tiefe nicht empfohlen werden sind rot dargestellt.

- The dynamic Gaslist updates itself automatically, Gas 3 is now breathable
- Die dynamische Gasliste aktualisiert sich automatisch, Gas 3 ist nun atembar

- The "Better Gas" is indicated in yellow automatically
- Das "Better Gas" (Für diese Tiefe vom Benutzer geplantes Gas) wird automatisch gelb markiert

I am trying to do my first firmware upgrade. I have installed the companion software and connected my ostc3 but it is not then clear what I need to do to upgrade the firmware. Companion recognizes my ostc, which displays starting...done Service Mode enabled. I think it should show download mode enabled. What am I missing?

Almost done, you now need the new firmware file which can be downloaded here: http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/?id=162&version=en

Then upgrade using the "Upgrade Firmware..." button.

And yes, "Service mode enabled" is a correct message on the OSTC3 after clicking "Reconnect" in the OSTC Companion.
