In the Settings> Prefer menu. Settings> Brightness "Eco"
In this setting selection "Eco" adjusts the brightness depending on the ambient light?
The French translation should be "Auto" for automatic.
Tell me if I'm wrong?
Sorry for my poor English.

hi,

your reasoning is not wrong,

But "eco" for me battery econony seems meaningful for understanding of the purpose of this setting,

Hi,
"eco" in the source code changes the intensiter light,
If I select "medium" and I use my OSTC in bright light it will consume less power compared to "eco" => it is not logical!

No, in bright ambient light the OSTC will consume more power in "Medium" then in "Eco", of course. This setting just shifts the range the OTSC3 will adjust it's backlight.

Re: OSTC3 - Translation Fr
hi,

I think the ambient light sensor adjust on the 3 settings "eco", "medium" & "high" for backlight of OLED display,

The "eco" illuminate less so it should consume less,

On my OSTC3 in bright light or with diving light, "eco" illuminate less, and backlight reflects the choice of each 3 settings selected, and "high" illuminates more,

In bright light "eco" doesn't illuminate as much as "medium" or "high"

In bright light "eco" should consume less than "medium" or "high"

I do not understand when you write "If I select" medium "and I use my OSTC in bright light it consumes less power Will Compared to" eco ""

On what you base you to say "medium" that consume less than "eco"?

If it is not clear to you, I think HW will answer you more precisely,

Re: OSTC3 - Translation Fr
After checking the source code, 3 modes use the light sensor with different settings so the three modes are "Auto". My request is not correct. sorry
