Possible bug in simulator

Last weekend after a normal nitrox dive, (18meters 33% 62min, GF 30/85) I run a simulation for the second dive to see what my NDT would be after certain surface interval. To do so I increased the bottom time until the simulator showed me some deco time.

The interesting part is that after coming back to the main screen the computer was showing a GF 101% alert, as if it was considering the result of the simulation as a real dive.

If I run the simulator again the alert disappears, but I don't know if is because the value is reset it or if it is because in the time I spent running the simulator the GF has gone below 101% thus cancelling the alert.

This has happened to me twice in two different days. Is this a bug or there is any misconception from my side? I suppose configuring the GF at 30/85 and respecting the computer plan, I should arrive at surface with 85% or something below. Am I wrong?

This is a screenshot of the screen after returning from the sim the first time

Oh, sorry,

It seems that the image was not linked properly. I have attached also the dive profile as dumped with OSTC-Tools.

The dive profile shows that I am not even close to a GF of 100% at the end of the dive.

What can be the reason for this alert?.

Hi,

Thanks for this report, I did a quick look into the code and it seems that this is a false alert. The GF is recomputed in the surface mode. Most likely, this false alert would have been cleared automatically at the next full minute (32s after you made this picture).

regards,
Matthias

Actually I went into the simulator again and after finalizing the simulation the alert was cleared, but I don't know if it was because the minute has passed or because the simulator initialized something.

What a pity, this was a frame from a video, but the video ends before it reaches 12:02

I will try to reproduce the issue the next time and report accordingly.
