http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/?id=57&version=en has the new 2.93beta

Changes/New Features:
NEW: Show Gas change countdown if CF55>0
CHANGE: Graphical velocity on by default (CF60=1)
NEW: Ceiling display (GF_hi based) in divemode
CHANGE: No turkish language support anymore
BUGFIX: Gas volume computation when using several travel mixes

As usual, feedback is welcome.

Hello Matthias,

good work. Thanks for reactivating CF 55 again with a simple countdown, it is working fine. Ceiling display is a nice new feature.

What is the countdown for? Is it the same like on Uwatec's Galileo? What happens if the countdown is at zero?

I never had a Galileo in my hand.

It disappears :-)

Maybe DTR.Diver66 can explain what this countdown is for. He wanted it.

Matthias

Thank you for this new version.

Just a request. Is it possible to change in the main display (in french version) "Air" with "Temp" ?
When we are underwater this text is more realistic.

Best regards.

Claude

"Air" is the current gas.

Hello Scubatinoo,

the stop at 21m should be at least 3 minutes if you change to a gas with more oxygen than 21% ( Oxygen Window Effekt ). The countdown is a stopwatch, the length you can set under CF 55.

Re: New 2.93beta available - issue with dive log

Hi H&W ;)

Just a remark about the 2.93 beta.
When displaying the dive log graphic (of previous dives done with 2.90)
The deco gases are not shown, they are displayed as "bailout". Also the dive graph is shifted to the left, maybe due to the "bailout" text ?
For info see the (bad) picture attached.
The dive was made in L16-OC mode, Tx and 2 deco gases.

Best regards.

What a shame :-)

If you reach the 21m stop with a Galileo then a window will
pop up, asking you if you want to change from G1 to G2 (gas
switch) and a countdown is running. You can confirm and the
Galileo will calculate the gas switch or you can ignore the
message and after 30 seconds the Galileo will continue calculating
the dive with the actual gas. Later on you can do the gas
switch manualy... It's a more comfortable way of a "better gas
warning".

Ok, they use a "time window" for the gas change. We use a "depth window". Basically the same in real world diving.
