Unexpecetd reset from dive model OSTC2N

Last Sunday my OSTC2n shutdown on a dive, I assumed it was the battery.. When I got home I plugged it in to a charger and it displayed the message..

"Unexpecetd reset from dive model OSTC2N"


Now it consistently crashes and reports the same message.

It's running v2.01 so I guess I should upgrade the firmware, however, I thought I'd ask on here first to see if anyone else has experienced this problem ?

I'd recommend to recharge the unit completely, update to the latest 2.90 and observe the battery life a few days. Maybe the battery "just" went flat? If the unit was last recharged in 2011...
