Sport - gradient factor settings for conservatism

Hello.
Any chance that the user will be able to change the gradient factor settings for the various conservatisms? Or otherwise may I suggest to change the current "30/85" setting for "-1" conservatism to "40/85"? This would bring it squarely in line with the "0" setting of "30/80" and the "-2" setting of "50/90". Similarly, "25/75" may be appropriate for the "+1" conservatism (instead of the current "20/75", since "+2" is set to "20/70" ) , but I have not looked at that side in detail.
Thanks.
Yours, Max

I take it the answer is "no" for the short term, and optimistically "perhaps" for the medium term?

It's unlikely that we change the conservatism settings. Maybe we add a "custom" conservatism where you can configure your own. 30/85 or 40/85 - the difference is barely noticeable.

Matthias

yes, Matthias, a "custom" conservatism would be a great addition.

-D As I said there are different "schools" using the OSTC Sport. This concurs with my post "OSTC SPORT. How can you compare conservatism levels?" dated dec 20, 2014. I would love to use the Bühlman + CF, but not the way they are defined at present. Thanks (:P)

Just reading the interesting discussion on scubaboard:
http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/techni ... s-dcs.html
Among other things, one can read on page 28:
If you're integrating the information from the NEDU study and are concerned about type II hits, then remember ...
... the deep schedule produced a rate of DCS II cases that was 94% more than the shallow schedule.
... the deep schedule produced a rate of DCS I cases that was 287% more than the shallow schedule.
... the deep schedule produced a hit rate that was 223% more than the shallow schedule.
Still convinced that high values for low GF's should not be possible
