Hello
I can see that people have had similar problems but I am at my wits end.
I have followed all of the instructions in previous posts, many cables, installed all the drivers available but I can still not get my OSTC to connect because no matter what I do I never get offered a COM port.
This is the first time that I have used the OSTC planner after instal so have never been able to connect.
Any advice etc would be gratefully received.

Hi
Did you have a look at Systemreport > Hardware > USB? There should your OSTC be listed if connected AND turned on. If not, check too
- that you're logged in with an admin-account
- that your OSTC is connected to an USB-port on your Mac and not on a Hub (i have problems with the hubs too!). Unplug all other USB-Devices...
- try to push the cable at your OSTC slightly in different positions. Depending on the cable some of mines only work if i push them slighly down...
- try it again, and again.
