Does the OSTC 2n pressure sensor fears sand?

Hello,

I am planning a long diving trip (Dive Master for a couple of months) to South East Asia and I am concerned about sand getting stuck into my OSTC 2N pressure sensor... So I am wondering if I should let it safe at home and travel with an other computer...

Do you think I am worrying for nothing or that sand could harm the OSTC ?

Thanks to the beach divers for sharing their experiences! :)

Hi eatsoup,

i'm wearing my OSTC2 when i'm taking part in archeological excavations here in the lakes, what means, digging in mud.

I had no problems with my OSTC2 until now.

Rob

Wouldn't be much good as a dive computer if it was't compatible with sand
