Mac 10.10.1 Yosemite

Hi,
I've just switched over from PC to Mac. I have read in the FTDI installation guide that OSX Mavericks has the drivers already installed. Does anyone have any experience with Yosemite? Are the drivers installed already? If not, when I plug the OSTC 2 in for the first time, will it automatically locate and install them?
Regards
Jerry.

Try it, then you'll know it...
I'm using Mac OS X since Lion/Mountain Lion and there i had to install the FTDI drivers... afert updating to Mavericks and Yosemite i did not do anything and my OSTC is still recognized...

I was a bit reluctant to just plug it in as I know it can cause all sorts of problems if the drivers are not installed on windows ( or at least it did with XP some time ago). I don't know enough about the Mac to know whether it will be an issue or not.

Don't worry. It will work - or not. If the driver is somehow missing, your OSTC will only charge over USB, that's all..

We're using an out-of-the-box MAC OSX 10.10 here, as well. The OSTC2 works just fine with Subsurface, for example. Driver installation will happen automatically (Assuming you are online).

I upgraded my OSTC Mk2 firmware yesterday with Yotemite so it it working and perfectly stable. I've been using it since Mavericks and it's been rock solid.
