OSTC Planner

Sorry if it's bad form to use this forum to ask about another piece of software but I couldn't think of anywhere more appropriate.
Is anyone else using OSCT Planner at the moment? Are you having any problems? I have recently installed it onto a Mac and have updated the OSTC 2N firmware to 3.00 without any problem. However, when I try to upload the CF's I get an error message. It appears to have uploaded CF1 but stalls on `CF2 and gives the error message. The OSTC however flashes up with the warning message to say the CF;s have been changed and to check them.
Any thoughts anyone?
Regards
Jerry

Guys,
Sorry to resurrect such an old subject but I've come across another issue. The last time I updated my firmware was when I posted this. So initially I was able to upload the firmware but had problems reading / updating the CF's. I uploaded the version suggested and had no problems with the CF's. At that point I didn't recheck the firmware updates.
Now I have decided to move to 3.13 and attempted to update via OSTC Planner. I keep getting a message that it can't locate the chip ( or something similar). The OSTC shows Bootloader in red on the screen and then changes to Bootloader aborted. I can however do a screen dump and update the time and date.
I gave up and downloaded subsurface. That worked without issue.
Any thoughts?
Jerry.

Ok has anyone on here updated firmware on a Mac using OSTC Planner recently? Did you have any issues. Am I right in thinking it can't be a driver issue as it is recognized as a com port and I can update CFs and screen dump. Would subsurface use the same drivers?
Any pointers would be appreciated. I have emailed OSTC Planner support but not heard anything back.
Regards.

OK I have just got home from work and have loaded OSTC Companion onto the Mac. The OSTC2n is recognised and I can change the name and date/time. However the Update firmware and set icon buttons are greyed out.....am I doing something wrong?

You could always use Subsurface to both change settings and update the firmware.
Subsurface doesn't support changing all the settings on the OSTC, Mk.2/2N/2C , because they are so darn many, but the ones I have felt the need for is there.

I know I could and that is what I am doing at the moment. However the OSTC Planner was a one stop shop for everything I needed - and I supported the software by registering. It's frustrating that I can't get it to work.
As I said I think I'm right in that it's not the FTDI driver as it works with subsurface and I can screen print, adjust date and time and play around with the CF settings with Planner.
