Hello all I'm in need of some help please, I'm new to OSTC so please bear with me.
I'm having a few problems with Bluetooth and updating. I can't get the Bluetooth working, I've paired it with the PC and the computer tells me it is, but I can't get "Service Mode Enabled" on the unit as on the picture in the manual. It's just saying "Starting Done." then it goes to Exit after a couple mins as it should when it can't pair as per the manual. I've removed it and repaired it several times it's just not working?
There's very little in the manual about it other than the normal enter 0000 as you would with anything else Bluetooth it should then be plug and play except it isn't!
I've managed to find the Bootloader v2 and downloaded it, I would expect the Bootloader to find the v10_15ostc_sport_firmware.hex that I've also downloaded but it hasn't. Is there something I need to do?
Obviously until I can get the above working I can't update the unit.
Many thanks

Sussed it now.
Re: Having a few problems with OSTC Sport
Hi,
Did you download OSTC companion ?
Once you are paired with your PC via Bluetooth, only connecting OSTC companion will get you to service mode.
If you are paired but don't connect OSTC companion, the sport will just exit Bluetooth after a couple minutes as you describe.
Regards,
Cédric.

You need the OSTC Companion in order to update the firmware in the OSTC Sport (Manual Page 91...). A step-by-step instruction can be found here: read.php?6,14509

Re: Having a few problems with OSTC Sport
Hi,
New to OTSC Sport, first dive yesterday: amazing machine underwater !
The problem i have is that i can't pair my unit with my PC, under Win7. No way, "Unable to open port" is what i get after each attempt.
Is there any known issues with bluetooth connection ? Should i get a specific bluetooth dongle ? Other things to check ?
Thanks for any help,

Re: Having a few problems with OSTC Sport
Hi,
Click on the Windows Bleutooth Icon, right click on the "OSTC Sport", check which COM-Port Windows has assigned to this Sport.
See the attached screenshot (It's in German, but you may recognize the windows).
This port and no other is the correct port for the Sport.
Regards,
Matthias
