Had exactly the same problem as TomtheRom (except unfortunately not back from Malaysia), last saturday. Fortunately had a backup computer. Was invited to return the unit to HW, what I did today.
May I ask TomtheRom, or anybody else having had a similar problem, what was the outcome, solution and ... delay?
