Hi,

Today we released the new 3.04 beta for the OSTC Mk.2, 2N and 2C. It contains an Auto-Setpoint feature for eCCR users. Setpoint 2 or 3 will be selected automatically based on the current depth.

Set SP Mode to "Auto"

Configure the depth

- The setpoint will be changed when reaching the configured depth during descent
- Setpoint change will be logged in the logbook
- When manually changing the setpoint the OSTC won't switch back automatically again

Beta versions will be posted in the forum only. http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/?id=479 only provides stable version.

Matthias, what is the HW perspective on diving with Beta firmware?

OK as a backup computer? OK as a primary? Don't do it at all?

"Do not use for diving" - is our official recommendation. For experienced divers and as a backup it's ok, as well.

I dived with almost all beta versions, without any problems
that's what I did, but i can't tell you to do the same

Same here. But i have a second dive computer (not an ostc) for backup.

Just a quick question as I am really interested in this feature.
How long is the beta process?
Is there a bugzilla or equivalent I can monitor progress?
Just wondering when we will see 3.04 released in the wild.
