ABOUT GAZ 6

Hello,

Sunday i used the gaz 6 with Tx12/61 because i missed my setup (my gaz 2 was 12/35 instead 12/61). At this time, my TTS increased abnormally, like all other gaz 1 to 5 was not active. I was surprised but not worry, my TTS on my SCUBAPRO-UWATEC was correct After, when i switch on my gaz 3, my TTS decreased sharply and return in normal value as expected at this time and almost identical with UWATEC, ouf !

Next, i did a simulation and see that the behaviour is the same.

Is this the expected behavior ?

Did you enter a changing depth for gas 6 too, or was it just zero...?

I don't find how to adjust changing depth on 2N in OC mode for Gaz6.
So, zero or other, i can't know the value.
How to do ? during diving ? With CF ?

While Gas6 is used, the deco gases are no longer taken into account. TTS and decoplan will be recalculated after every gas change (as usual).

When configuring a gas underwater, the OSTC intentionally assumes your gas plan was a) not configured at all or b) has changed. So, no this is not so easy to implement.

Or c) Not enough configurable gaz for dives with upon 7 gaz
Used G6 first time with 12/61 because config. mistake and second time with N82 because all gaz already used and actives.

Other option should be to have a "real" Gas 6 like Gas 1 to 5.
With Gas 7 like actual Gas 6 with configuration underwater.

Is it possible ? Is there enough memory for it ?

Why not just make sure you do proper pre-dive checks and set everything up before the dive starts?
Easy and already implemented!

Yes, 7 differents actives gas, (8 with surface air Nx21 )
2 of them are near but theorically differents (12/61 and 13/57)
Even if i use only one gaz for this 2, i can't program my last deco +/- Nx82. So i need G6 for this Nx82, and my TTS is slightly not good until G6 switch near the end

So a real G6 should be perfect B)-
And G7 to G10 (like DR5) should be exellent to add backup inactive gas (:D

Le sujet principal est de savoir si c'est techniquement possible d'ajourter des gaz en fixe et si la mémoire est dimensionnée pour le supporter. Sur mon uwatec, je n'ai pas ce problème ( mais y'en a d'autres !) j'ai 10 gaz

Après concernat ma plongée et l'utilité des 7 gaz, disons que ça me regarde, mais que le profil assez atypique de cette plongée permetrait d'apporter des éléments d'explications.

je crois comprendre qu'au vu de ton profil (sout ?), tu as besoin d'embarquer plusieurs gaz différents.
je veux bien le croire, si tu le fais, ce n'est pas par coquetterie.

mais tu sais aussi que l'ostc n'autorise que 5 gaz différents.
Matthias t'a expliqué que le 6e gaz n'est pas fait pour l'usage auquel tu le réserves.
et que l'évolution n'est pas simple, aux dires du concepteur, plutôt ouvert à l'ajout de fonctionnalités.

je crois donc que tu as ta réponse.
Pour l'instant, je ne saurais trop te conseiller de rester sur ton Uwatec (tu fais comment pour planifier avec ?).
ou de passer à la concurrence, méfie toi quand même de certains modèles, très ... surprenants

ou alors, décris mieux ton besoin et tes usages pour rallier à ta cause d'autres plongeurs afin de pousser MAtthias à réaliser les évolutions que tu souhaites.

Oui c'est de la sout.
Je planifie avec OSTC Planner.
Par expérience je sais que le Galileo "fini" 1 ou 2 minute seulement après l'OSTC (configuré en GF Hi à 75%) avec des plafonds légèrement plus hauts. Sur des plongées de 120 à 160 min c'est pas mal. ça ne me pose donc aucun problème de conscience de ne pas faire de planif "spécifique" pour l'uWatec.

Je traficote déjà un peu le code, à ce jour surtout sur l'IHM.
Si c'est pas assez grand public pour faire une version officielle, je peux tout à fait comprendre. Alors j'essayerai d'y passer mes heures creuses !
