Hallo zusammen,

Matthias

Pardon me for borrowing the thread, did'nt want to bloat the forum.
I have a problem installing the new firmware 1.88.
I have the OSTC3 (old version w/o bluetooth)
Latest Companion installed, v1.200.0
Using windows 7 computer
problem is that OSTC companion does not recognize the unzipped hex file,
when i click on "upgrade firmware" and go to the folder the hex just does not show even though it's there in the win explorer.
Is there a way I can fix this?
Regards, Tommy OSTC#2432, fw 1.81

Type *.hex into the "Hex file..." window and it will be visible and selectable.

Matthias

Hello again and thank you Matthias for always being quick to answer. I don't however think there was anything wrong with the file name but what I eventually did was just type in the name of the file in the search box and hit "open" and the install started without a problem even though the file itself was invisible in the window where one usually click or dubbel click on it.
All in all, problem solved and latest fw/os installed
