Hi,

For one month I try to do an upgrade of my OSTC 3.
I can connect it to "OSTC Companion v1.2" :

But when I try to upgrade I have a "readByte timeout" between 5% to 20% :

I read some message of this forum, but I find no solution. I have tried on Windows 8.1 and 10 a lot of time.

hello, same think for my OSTC Sport, and nothing else to help me . No update possible, What can i do please.....

Bei mir das gleiche Problem, von 1.93 auf 2.03 ... hatte sonst nie Probleme!
Ich habe im Gerätemanager im COM-Anschluss die Wartezeit von 16ms auf 32ms hochgesetzt, danach ging es auf Anhieb. Ich vermute es liegt an der Firmware, der OSTC braucht vermutlich länger als früher zum antworten, dann geht die Schnittstelle auf Timout.

Nachdem ich sowohl beim OSTC2 wie auch bei OSTC3 das selbe Problem habe und bisher leider keine Lösung (einsenden an hw geht natürlich immer) finde ich Deinen Hinweis mit der COM-Wartezeit sehr interessant.

Leider finde ich die Möglichkeit zur Einstellung nicht. Lediglich "Bits pro Sekunde" finde ich. Kannst Du mir bitte noch einen Tipp geben.

WIN7: Geräte-Manager -> Anschlüsse (COM&LPT) -> Rechte Maustaste auf den entsprechenden COM-Port Eigeschaften -> Anschlusseinstellungen -> Erweitert... -> und da die Wartezeit höher einstellen.

Geht natürlich nur wenn der OSTC eingesteckt ist.

Try using a different usb port, helped me to switch from front to back usb on computer.
