no Deko Limit: 0min

Hi,

My OSTC 3 (hwOS v2.01) has done something strange during a dive: at -37m and 13min he says “no Deko Limit: 0min”, so I start to go up. During my ascent he always says “no Deko Limit: 0min”, so I keep going up. But at -16m and 19min he always says “no Deko Limit: 0min”, then few seconds after he says “no Deko Limit: 41min”!!! So what happens? In 30 seconds at the same depth I win 41min no deko limit? It’s look like a bug no?

I send a picture of my profile (with OSTC tools) and the dive file.

Greetings,

Sly

Hi,

This (unwanted) effect happens when the NDL routine assumes no NDL left and the deco routines results in 0min deco. The deco routine computes desaturation during the ascend (With 10m/min) and results with 0min deco, the NDL routine does not compute desaturation during ascend.

There is this small window during transition of these two routines that result in this behaviour. Due to the exponential nature of these decompression routines a jump of several dozen minutes within a few m depth difference is normal.

Hope that explains this a bit.

Matthias
