Hi,

Does anyone has such experience that whenever I change battery, my OSTC Sport auto reset time and date to its original?

Is it normal?

still using version 10.20 because cannot upgrade by companion as well as subsurface too.

Thanks

Hi,

Time and date (And all deco data) are kept in later firmware versions (But time may be wrong for an hour in the worst case) only.

Due due a rare but potentially very annoying issue (The unit may no longer start after a battery change and this can only fixed at our place) I, again, strongly recommend to upgrade this version!

If you can't do it, send it to us for the update.

Regards,
Matthias

Hi, I got my SPORT return from you after your help to upgrade latest version.

After try to take out battery and replace, same as before where date and time auto reset to factory default 13.01.13, time has extra 30 mins

Thanks

During my diving holiday, I had to change the battery after 30 dives (new battery was inserted before leaving...).
My OSTC Sport is running 10.25, but after battery exchange date and time was reset. I did not notice it until the dive began and the time was way off.

If the date and time is reset (which is ok, if it has a technical reason) one should at least be redirected to the date/time menu after selecting the battery type.
