V1.0.8 works wrong in simulation

1) When ascending after first stop, Nitrogen bar(2) suddenly collapsed. after then Helium bar(2) too.

I wish to know left/right edge and green bar meanings and what is their value?(scaled with M-value? or just integer with predefined min/max?)
|-----------------||---------------------------------------------------|
(1:left edge) (2:green[maybe inertgasP/ambitientP) (3:right edge)
like this in Shearwater Perdix manual

2) Ceiling jumps -/+ when it enters deco

Hello,

the tissue graph in hwOS4 refers to absolute values.

On the outer left side is 0.75 bar for nitrogen and 0 bar for helium.
The right limit is 3 bar more than the left for nitrogen and helium.

The vertical bar shows where the tissues would finally be at the current depth with the actual gas (if saturated / desaturated).
Therefore the vertical bars moves with depth and the actual breathing gas setup.

This behaviour can be seen in the first pictures of the initial post.

The oxygen bar is CNS. With 0% on the left and 100% where the (fixed) bar is located.

The ceiling is still zero (or in this case below zero) as the ascending time is responsible for those first decostops not the actual tissue load or the critical radius. The ceiling for VPM does display negative values in this example. This ceiling value will be limited to 0 (surface pressure) in the future. As the ceiling is calculated only in deco mode and not in NDL, this function is active only when the dive computer calculates deco stops instead of the remaining NDL. In the latter case the ceiling is always automatically zero.

regards,
Christian

Thanks for the details.
OK. I understood its not scaled with M[156%saturated] value.(0-100%)

I think most of well trained technical diver overcome around 4bar of N2(Known as narcosis limit)
It's(fixed/not scaled legend) not easy to identify saturated or not when I reached 3bar of N2.

How about change the graph to Shearwater's one?(also easy to read current GF)

*Still no explain about suddenly "N2 vertical bar dropped to 0"
Here is my test results
TX 18/45
==> N2@89m == 0.36*9.9 == 3.56 ( 89m~ vertical line reached end of right. its over 3bar than you explained )
==> He@72m == 0.45*8.2 == 3.69 ( 72m~ vertical line reached end of right. )

==> N2@25m == 0.36*3.5 == 1.26 ( ~25m big jumps to end of left[0.75?] )
==> He@2m == 0.45*1.2 == 0.54 ( ~2m jumps to end of left[0?] )

Air
--> N2@7m == 0.79*1.7 == 1.34 ( ~7m big jumps to end of left )
--> N2@36m == 0.79*4.6 == 3.63 ( 36m~ end of right )

I think N2 graph's vertical line jumps to 0 around EAD=6m~7m

Dear tanomogi.

It's true that's not correct. I only started those vertical bars if the partial pressure was 0.5 bar above the zero value. This is fixed now and will be available with the next update (V1.0.12 and newer).

The tissue bar you suggest is very nice too and adds extra information.

with kind regards,
Christian

Actually I found confusing/stucked when I change the gas, hard to scale M-value line with inert gas pressures.(especially using TX mix and deco with NX :S)
So, I understood why did you implemented tissue graph with absolute values.

But, I like shearwater's tissue graph styles.
If I solve(maybe or not) this problem, I will post some psuedo-code with mock-up UI for scaled tissue graphs.( I think you and your team better than my brains(tu) )

Cheers!
