OSTC 2C Briked :(

Hi All,

Last night I wanted to update my OSTC 2C 8539 from V3.11 to v3.13.
I used OSTC Planner on my MAC with OS X 10.10.5 for it.

I got the red screen on my 2C with written Bootloader etc. and after it nothing any more...

After 1 hours or so (I went eating) the screen was still black and no LED's on.
I disconnected it and try to wakeup pushing a button, but no luck screen stay black and when I reconnect the 2C on the computer also nothing

Today I tried to connect with TinyBootload 1, he says no PIC found. I tried also to do the reset with the magnet, USB plugged in. But still no PIC found.

What can I try to unbrick my OSTC, I go to a diving trip and I would like to use my OSTC and not my Zoop!

Hi,

Very likely you can recover it with the bootloader v1 (Not v2). But it's only available for Windows. The trick is described here: read.php?2,4071 (See section "If you have firmware <1.90" )

I tried with bootloader v1 on a win7 PC.
I get all the time Error :

I tried also with the magnet as discribed in "Note 2" but still no luck.

Make sure the sequence is correct for this kind of update:

- Reset the OSTC with a quite strong magnet
- then click "Write Flash" within 10 seconds
