QI induction charging standard

Just wondering , does the OSTC4 charge using any standard QI induction charger ?
A QI charger is included that fits perfectly between the bungee straps. For using other chargers the backplate most likely has to be removed. Except for that - if this is the question - the standard QI protocol is used.
