The new OSTC3, cR and OSTC 2 firmware 2.10 is now available for download:

The firmware itself can be set to English, Deutsch, Italiano and Français. The firmware is now split into two language versions: English + German and French + Italian. Make sure to install the correct HEX file.

Die Firmware selbst kann auf Englisch, Deutsch, Italienisch und Französisch gestellt werden. Die Firmware ist nun auf zwei Versionen geplittet (Englisch + Deutsch sowie Französisch und Italienisch), achtet darauf die richtige HEX Datei zu installieren.

Changes/Änderungen:

NEW: Adjustable timeout for Divemode
CHANGE: Firmware now split in two variants (EN/DE) and (FR/IT)
NEW: New battery option for AA 3,7V rechargable (For OSTC 3)
NEW: Show Uptime (Time since last firmware boot) in information menu
NEW: Store more battery info into logbook memory
BUGFIX: Minor text alignment fixes

Please try downloading the firmware again. There was an old zip archive in which the French version was missing. I just checked the links again, should be fine now.

Small problem. Once updated, my OSTC3 was reading 0% battery. Before the upgrade, the battery was at 42%. Voltage is reading 3.4V.

I'm using a SAFT battery. I tried pulling the battery out and reinserting, selecting 'Keep Old', but it still showed 0%.

I tried again, selecting new 3.6V and it is now showing 100% - however I know it is not really 100%.

I tried a third time, selecting 'Keep Old', and it is now showing 0% again.

From which version did you upgrade from?

same problem when updating from 2.07 - batt 0%, before 88%

Another thing - when you put a new battery in the OSTC3, the usual menu comes up to give options for batteries. One of the options is 'Internal 18650'. Is that supposed to be an 18650 or 14500?

No, 18650 is the internal battery of the OSTC 2 and cR.

Hallo zusammen,

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Firmware für meinen OStC 2 in Verbindung mit einem IPad zu aktualisieren oder ist dies nur in Verbindung mit einem PC möglich ?

Im also having a problem withe the battery % having on to zero the voltage shown is the same as before the upgrade to 2.10

Choose "Use old" from the New Battery Menu manually. Menu -> Settings -> More -> Reset menu

Das ist (aktuell) noch nicht möglich. Das ist aber ein Thema für uns...
