Hello.
Yes, you have to update the RTE before using the computer. It seems like it failed on the first run. Please start the update process again. If it occurs afterwards again and Reboot RTE in Reset Menu does not help either then please do a cold start by removing the battery for a moment. Be careful with the O-Ring when reinstalling the battery lid and don't close the lid not more than it is closed now.
