HW HUD

I am thinking of upgrading an AP Inspiration Classic with a HW HUD and connection to my OSTC.
Does anyone have a (photo) guide on the installation?
As far as I understand, the HW-HUD will come with a pigtail, and I will have to solder on the connectors for my cells as well as making a proper splitter, since the handsets will still need to read the cells in order to control the solenoid.
Further: Is the optical cable for the OSTC included, or do I have to order that as an extra?
