Hi Christian,

at first view the firmware (update) works fine, thanks!

Only one remark concerning the “center custom view”: For the german firmware version / language there is a missing “Ü” for “Übersicht”, see attachment (2016-12-16_CCV.jpg).

Quick question - can those custom center views be configured off before the dive ? I do not want to play with menus under water - just want to set them off for good :-)

Hi Christian,

I uploaded the OSTC companion sw from the alternative site you gave me. Thanks!
I then uploaded the new firmware version 1.2.0 to the OSTC using the file "OSTC4update_161214_FW_1_2_0__RTE_0_96.bin". That worked well except for RTE96. The computer now flashes "please update RTE" and I can see in the SYS menue that it still has RTE 0.93 (and OS1.2.0).
I rebootet firmware as well as RTE to no avail.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Alex

please do the following .. let the OSTC4 sleep after few minutes

repeat the firmware update
it will pick-up were it was stoped and will flush the RTE

Hi Alex,

Just restart the update process and/or reboot the unit.

Hi Matthias,

I did exactly that but it did not help. The odd thing is that the ostc companion afterwards confirmed that RTE v0.96.0 was indeed uploaded to the dive computer. After rebooting firmware and RTE the computer still lists "RTE 0.93 OS1.2.0" and flashes "please update RTE".

???

Shall I send you the screen shots? if so, to what email address?

Best regards
