oddity with 'calculate deco'

Hi there,

just so you know there is an oddity with the 'calculate deco' feature.

I am using the OSTC4 firmware version 1.1.8.

When I try to calculate a dive of 20 min to 50m on air with NX50 an O2, the NX50 does not show up in the deco plan. Yet, when I move to gas consumption, the required NX50 Volume shows.

Calculating 60m with otherwise the same parameters does not have the issue at all, both deco gases are shown.

Regards
Alex

Hi Alex,

Which change depth is configured for the two deco gases? They are set as Type: Deco?

Matthias

Hi Matthias,

I have configured Nx50 and O2, both as deco gases.
Change depth for Nx50 is set to 22m. Change depth for O2 is 6m.
Also, I use GF30/80 (as soon as I set GF30/75, the problem does not show up).

It is as if Nx50 "is there" in the background but it kind of "slips" from the screen.

Please see attached pictures. First row: configuration. Second row: Simulation results.

Cheers
Alex

Hi Alex.

Gas changes are not displayed seperately. The gas changes occurs at 22m that is prior to the first stop at 18 m which is the first entry in the list. It is shown if you have depper stops (like max. depth is 60m instead of 50m: first stop at 27m).

kind regards,
Christian
