Logbook lost after battery failed

Hello,
During a dive, a low battery alarm was displayed on my OSTC 3+ with hwOS 2.15. I could not change the battery before the following (shallow) dive, so the computer stopped working. At this point all sounds normal.
After replacing the battery with a brand new 3.6 V lithium, I discovered that not only the last dive was lost, which would be normal, but the full logbook. Is there an explanation ? A writing to the non-volatile memory at the precise moment where the computer stopped working ?
Fortunately, I've downloaded the logbook the day before...
Regards.
