TTS time with several gases but no gas change

The current TTS is for the current gas in combination with all preprogrammed deco gas changes!
To see the TTS without gas changes you should deactivate all deco gases (Dive Menu / Gases / Lost Gas).
The same is true for the the Future TTS value. It uses the list with all active gases.

Ok understood, but what TTS is shown if I intentionally do not change to a better gas when the OSTC 4 suggest it?

E. g. I dive with NX 24 and have NX 60 for deco. TTS shows the time using both gases. But if I don't change to NX 60 @ 15 meters or less, but continue to use NX 24 and finish deco with that, what is shown. How does the OSTC 4 handle this situtation?

If you pass a deco change depth then the preprogrammed deco gas change is not used anymore. The algorithm uses the active gas instead. Hence in your case the NX24.

Hi Christian,

great, thanks for this confirmation, it was what I thought the OSTC 4 does anyway but now I have it confirmed.

So it continues to calculate deco with the active gas (in this case NX 24), until I manually at a later moment, even deco change depth passed, change to another gas e. g. NX 60, correct?
