Hallo, habe folgendes Problem:


Ich nutze Subsurface am PC zum auslesen des OSTC4 Logbuch.

Nun kann ich plötzlich die neueren Daten des OSTC4 nicht mehr auslesen.
Subsurface - PC - OSTC4 haben eine Verbindung. Es wurde keine Datei am PC geändert und auch kein Update durchgeführt.


Öffne ich die bestehende Datei in Subsurface, hier sind ca. 180 Einträge - werden die neuen Tauchgänge (ca.10 Stück) nicht heruntergeladen.

Öffne ich eine NEUE DATEI kann ich die Daten der Tauchgänge 120 - 180, die noch im Logbuch des OSTC4 sind herunterladen, jedoch nicht die letzten 10 Stück.

Habe bereits einen NEUSTART am OSTC4 durchgeführt - ebenso ohne Erfolg !!


Ist dieses Problem bekannt ?? Was kann ich machen um die weiteren Tauchgänge auszulesen.

I've google translated your post so I could read it.

There's probably a bug in libdivecomputer which i'm looking at. It has to do with some odd logic in libdivecomputer on how it figures out which dives to download.

I haven't had the time to fully understand whats going on there, but I plan to.

As discussed on the phone today with your dealer, the unit should be on the way to us already.

We'll take care of this then.

thank you, is nice - but still annoying. Again and again to have problems makes me very thoughtful.

History:

20.07.2017 bought.
First OSTC4 - flooded --> wait to return
Second OSTC4 - warranty exchange
Logbook can not be read
Menu button does not work - gas change is no longer possible
20.11.2017 waiting to be returned .........


Total:

I have no OSTC4 for more than a month, the dealer has the shipping costs and can bear my anger!

Whether the OSTC4 was the RIGHT CHOICE?

Problems happen sometimes, unfortunately. But what do you expect with these posts here? As the time of this post everything has been discussed in the background already.

As soon as we have the unit we'll take care of this.

I have the same issue with my OSTC 4, no access to the menu at all, my problem now is that the dealer is not in the US where I live so now I'm stocked with an expensive piece of equipment that doesn't work. Can I directly send it back to Germany to have it fixed???
This would be a good diving computer if it worked.
