Hi everyone,
I change my battery tonight (3rd time) on my OSTC sport (2 years old 40 dives). During the reboot the H&W logo appear and the proces is stuck with a red light on the side of the screen.
By pressing the right button the Bluetooth icon turn on. I tried to connect companion multiple times with no success. I tried to use OSTC3 helper (tinybldWin) to with no more success.
Anyone have a idea to fix it ?
Thx for help !
Romain

Hi Romain,
did you got a connection established with tinybldWin? If yes, which firmware file did you try to load? Asking becuse the normal ones do not work in this "rescue mode", it needs a differently coded one.

Hi,
When the Bluetooth Icon appears, the OSTC is in a special bootloader mode. You can quit this mode with the left button and the unit should start normally. If not, there is a special HEX file you can use. Please email me for details then:

Hi first of all thx for yours advices.
1) i can connect OSTC s with tinybldWin
2) the .hex file loaded in the OSTC is called : o3_tiny.hex (i got it by the reseller innodive).
3) after a "succesfull" loading the OSTC crashe again (black screen).
4) i tried to disconnect the battery for reboot
5) at the restart the logo H&W is appear but nothing more and i failed to load a new firmware (as you can see below).
21:01:31.566 Unable to enter hwOS service mode
21:01:31.568 Port COM4: Unable to enter hwOS service mode
21:01:31.570 Erreur: Port COM4: Unable to enter hwOS service mode
I gonna to mail Matthias for detail and get the HEX file.
See you at the next step (i hope this adventure can help somebody).

Hi,
Do not install this recovery HEX file with the companion. I have emailed you detailed instructions.
